People in the office were very nice. Committed to 9 nights unfortunately and didn't want to waste a day moving to another park. I really don't care that there are ALOT of permenant residents there.
I don't know how this park got 10's on the Good Sam website. I would give it a 1 at best!!! If you go to Yelp that will tell you the real story. Good Sam needs to update it's review of this park. Oh and another thing the pictures are deceiving.
DYLAN at Deutsche Bank Park, Frankfurt, Germany
It was extremely noisy, trains, cars, airplanes and when the lawn crew came to clean, they seemed to spend most of their time in the very poor dog area. The park is located behind a mall, so your view is the street, the mall and homelessness on the street. We assumed we would be able to get to the water easily, but we had to go to Vancouver Washington to get anywhere's near the water.

The staff were helpful yet they lacked knowledge of the park systems. The wifi was out in the area of the park we were in and when I called to report it there was nothing she could do as they were closing for the 4th. I believe that the rating should be reviewed and adjusted. Janzen Beach RV Park, Portland OR. Just over the border from Washington and easy to get to, this park had a lot to offer. The sites were all paved with trees and other plants as well as stone walls. The pool was large, warm , and very clean.
The paved roads inside the part are flat and fairly easy to maneuver. Just stayed one night, but would not hesitate staying longer. A very busy area North of town, but there are plenty of businesses in the area. The park is huge, surrounded by manufactured homes, business park, big box stores and condos. Many of them look long term but those are well kept. Full hook up, but never figured out the cable in space #934. Al I could get was a few community service tv stations. Spaces are nice and wide for an extra vehicle.
Since we decided to use a site in the city we did expect a certain amount of noise, but the being in the flight path for the Portland Airport was shocking. The RV sites are interspersed with the large amount of residents living in the park. The homeless people living in cars and tents around the park is unfortunate as well as a little unnerving. The park was generally clean on the surface, but the facilities need to looked at on a more regular basis. The laundry area looked clean as well on the surface, however, the machines looked like they had not been cleaned in days.
RV parks don't seem to appreciate how irritating it is to me when I cannot use my satellite. They say, but we have cable, but that's not the point. I have gone to the expense to have the dish installed and I pay the monthly charge for the service.
